Overview

We’re looking for a creative and driven Video & Content Developer to join our team! Collaborate with our Toronto and Amsterdam offices to lead innovative content strategies that prioritize video production while driving engagement and aligning with business goals. In this role, you’ll conceptualize, produce, and manage captivating video content, complemented by the creation of other multimedia assets. You’ll also oversee multi-channel campaigns, apply SEO best practices, and dive into analytics to ensure optimal performance and ROI.

 

Primary Responsibilities

(Required) Video Production and Content Strategy

  • Lead end-to-end video production efforts, including conceptualizing, scripting, shooting, editing, and optimizing videos to align with brand goals and resonate with target audiences.
  • Develop and execute a cohesive video-focused content strategy across platforms like YouTube, social media, and websites.
  • Enhance Yep Ads’ creative footprint by designing and editing supporting digital assets using Adobe Suite.

Campaign Optimization and Analytics

  • Monitor and optimize video and social campaigns for KPI and ROI benchmarks through detailed analysis.
  • Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush) to refine video strategies and overall campaign performance.
  • Track and analyze SEO efforts to improve visibility and engagement with video content.

(Required) SEO and Technical Implementation

  • Apply SEO best practices to video and web content, including keyword research, video metadata, and content optimization.
  • (Preferred but not required) Use basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for occasional tweaks to enhance content delivery.

(Required) Account Management and Business Development

  • Support business growth through video content for events, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Stay updated on video trends and new media tools to maintain brand competitiveness.
  • Expand the company’s presence on video-centric platforms (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, and emerging video platforms).

 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

(Required) Creative and Technical Expertise

  • Advanced skills in video production, including scripting, shooting, and editing, using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Proficiency in digital design tools like Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, and Canva to support video and multimedia projects.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and management tools like Hootsuite, with a focus on optimizing video content.
  • Knowledge of SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs) to enhance video discoverability and performance.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) to integrate video content into campaigns.

(Required) Content and Campaign Management

  • Proven experience developing video-focused content strategies and managing content calendars.
  • Skilled in creating diverse content types, with a priority on video production, supported by blogs, ad copies, and other multimedia.

Analytical and Project Management Skills

  • Strong data analysis skills to generate actionable insights and optimize video campaigns.
  • Effective project management, capable of handling multiple video and content projects simultaneously.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of trends in video marketing, SEO, digital advertising, and social media.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in video and multimedia storytelling.
  • Skilled at collaborating with international teams to deliver cohesive and impactful video content.
